Cork County Council is inviting people to share their views, ideas and suggestions about culture and creativity in County Cork. A series of public meetings will be held online and across the county during August as part of the new Cork County Culture and Creativity Strategy 2023 - 2027.

Cork County Council secure HORIZON EUROPE Funding for a new European Project

Cork County Council and the MaREI Research Centre in collaboration with European and British partners have been awarded €10m to develop the methodology for employing nature based systems to boost our resilience to climate change and to mitigate its impacts in coastal areas.

Crosshaven Boosted by €40,000 Outdoor Sports Facility

A new multi-use games area has been officially opened in Crosshaven, County Cork. The ribbon was cut on the outdoor facility for young people by the Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins.

The €40,000 multi-use games area provides basketball and soccer facilities free of charge to children and young people. The astroturf pitch and court is located in the Camden area of Crosshaven and is open seven days a week.

Housing Delivery Plan for Cork County Launched

Cork County Council has published its Housing Delivery Action Plan which sets out targets to build up to 3,880 social and affordable homes across the county by both the Council itself as well as approved housing bodies over the next five years.

Newly Renovated Spa House Officially Opened in Mallow

The Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins has officially opened the newly renovated Spa House in Mallow. The historic, attractive building dates back almost 200 years and has been given a new lease of life serving as the town’s new tourist office.
