Temporary Closing of Public Roads

ROADS ACT, 1993
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R-585 Castlemore, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs (Daily Closure) on Monday 13th March 2023 to 18:00hrs on Thursday 16th March 2023.
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Resurfacing.
Alternative Routes
Eastbound Traffic: Follow the R-585/R-590 west through Crookstown Village and on to the junction with the N22 (Stage Cross). Travel East along the N22.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-22-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Thursday 23rd February 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
