Temporary Closing of Public Roads
CORK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROADS ACT, 1993
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the periods and reason specified below.
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-1529 - from Ballynoe Village to Ballinscurloge, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 12th June, 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 4th August, 2023 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a New Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling northwards to Ballynoe Village, will divert via Tallow, R627. Turn left in Tallow onto R628 and finally turn left onto L-1530 towards Ballynoe Village at Conna Crossroads. The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-53-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 25th April, 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
