Temporary Closing of Public Roads
CORK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROADS ACT, 1993
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the periods and reason specified below.
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-5829 (Part of) Ballynoe Village, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 29th May, 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 9th June, 2023
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a New Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Travelling towards Ballynoe Village, keep on the L-15302. Turn left onto L-1530 and continue to Ballynoe village. Travelling from Ballynoe, continue northwards on L-1530. Turn right on L-15302 and continue to L-5829 junction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-52-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 25th April, 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
