Roads Subject of Proposed Closure
1. Junction 13 Northbound and Southbound “on ramps” and “off ramps” on the M8 Motorway, Fermoy, Co. Cork.
2. L-1406 at the M8 Motorway overbridge, Kilbeheny. Fermoy, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 20:00hrs on Tuesday 6th June 2023 to 06:00hrs on Wednesday 14th June 2023.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Resurfacing Works.
Alternative Routes
Traffic approaching on the M8 Motorway will be diverted via Junction 12 in the Southbound direction and via Junction 14 in the Northbound direction.
Traffic approaching Junction 13 on the National roads will be diverted via the R639 to Fermoy (Junction 14) or Mitchelstown (Junction 12).
Traffic to be diverted via the R639 & N73 to Mitchelstown, onto the R665 toward Ballygiblin.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-67-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Thursday 4th May 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Cuirfear trácht atá ag teacht i dtreo Acomhal 13 ar na bóithre Náisiúnta ar mhalairt slí ar an R639 go Mainistir Fhear Maí (Acomhal 14) nó Baile Mhistéala (Acomhal 12).
Cuirfear trácht ar mhalairt slí ar an R639 & N73 go Baile Mhistéala, agus ar an R665 i dtreo Bhaile Ghiblín.
