TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-3807-55, Barnageehy West, Youghal, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 19th June 2023 to 17:00hrs on Friday 23rd June 2023. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the construction of a Cattle Underpass, Effluent Holding Tank and all Associated Works.
Alternative Routes
Travelling from Youghal town to Mount Uniacke along the Quarry Road L3808, after you drive over the bridge over the N25, the road to the left the L3807 is closed. Continue on the L3808 until the next road to the left the L7892 which will you bring you to a cross roads where you must STOP. The cross brings you back onto the L3807 road where if you turn right you can continue to Mount Uniacke.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-72-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Thursday 18th May 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
Junction 13 Northbound and Southbound “on ramps” and “off ramps” on the M8 Motorway, Fermoy, Co. Cork. L-1406 at the M8 Motorway overbridge, Kilbeheny. Fermoy, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 20:00hrs on Tuesday 6th June 2023 to 06:00hrs on Wednesday 14th June 2023. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Resurfacing Works.
Alternative Routes
Traffic approaching on the M8 Motorway will be diverted via Junction 12 in the Southbound direction and via Junction 14 in the Northbound direction.
Traffic approaching Junction 13 on the National roads will be diverted via the R639 to Fermoy (Junction 14) or Mitchelstown (Junction 12).
Traffic to be diverted via the R639 & N73 to Mitchelstown, onto the R665 toward Ballygiblin.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 00:00hrs on Monday 29th May 2023 to 00:00hrs on Tuesday 31st October 2023. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate installation of services, carriageway, footpath, and verge construction.
Alternative Routes
Via new access road off Midleton Northern Relief Road roundabout on the L-3288-0/L-3822-1
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

L-7634-6 Garranes, Carrigtohill, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 06:00hrs on Monday 19th June 2023 to 18:00hrs on Monday 10th July 2023. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the installation of ducting as part of the Celtic Interconnector Project.
Alternative Routes
As you approach the Closure from the Leamlara Road L-3606-23 continue straight to Leamlara take the left turn at the crossroads on to the L-3604 continue until you come to the T-Junction with the L-7609 Ballynabrannagh West, turn left and continue to the cross roads with the L-2966 Pigeonhill, turn left and continue along this road to Garranes.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
