TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L5494 Ballincollie, Charleville, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00 on Monday 18th September 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 27th October 2023.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the installation of a new watermain.
Alternative Routes
Continue on the N20 towards Charleville, take the left onto L-1326 (Old Limerick Road), take another left onto R-515 out the Kilmallock Road and finally continue to L515105/L-5494 Ballincollie Road.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-156-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 15th August 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 30th October 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 3rd November 2023.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Waste Water connection at Dromahane National School, Cork.
Alternative Routes
Northbound Diversion – Drivers will be diverted onto L-5359-0 where they will continue onto R-619-351, from here they will turn left to stay on R-619-351 or turn right onto R-620-0.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

To facilitate installation of public sewer.
Alternative Routes
Northbound traffic: Follow the L-3414-41 (New Road) onto the L-9301-0 (Chapel Hill) onto the R-618, former N22 Main Street.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 07:00hrs on Monday 18th September 2023 to 19:00hrs on Wednesday 4th October 2023 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Resurfacing Works.
Alternative Routes
From Annsgrove turn left on to the L-3605 at next junction turn right on to L-3004, take the next right on to the L-7000 continue straight through the cross roads onto the L-6993, at the next cross roads turn right on to the L-2966 and the next Right to join the L-2967.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
