Temporary Closing of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-6013-0 Coolanaugh, Newcestown, Co. Cork - from the village to Ballinvoher Four Crossroads (Works area from the village to L-6014-0 Junction).
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 6th November 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 1st December 2023 (24 Hour).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Watermain Construction.
Alternative Routes
Traffic intending to access the L-6013-0 at the village shall divert north-east along the L-2009-52 and follow the road past Mossgrove Crossroads onto L-2011-20. Turn left at Glannarouge Crossroads onto L-2006-20 and follow the road to the opposite side of the road closure at Ballinvoher Four Crossroads.
The stated diversion is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local Access will not be maintained where possible. An access route to the school will be maintained.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-191-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 11th October 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 6th November 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 22nd December 2023. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Installation of New Watermain.
Alternative Routes
From Killavullen continue west towards Mallow on L-1223-30. Take next left to L-1222-0 travelling south towards Rahan School. Turn left to L-12221-0.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-189-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 10th October 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Tuesday 31st October, 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 24th November, 2023 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a New Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Travelling west from the Duntaheen Road, Fermoy, continue southwards on L-1510 towards Cappagh. At the L-1510/ L-1502 crossroads, turn right onto L-1502 and continue towards Ballyhooly. Turn right onto L-1508 towards Deerpark.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
