Temporary Closing of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-3805 Mogeely, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 19:00hrs on Monday 15th January, 2024 to 07:00hrs on Friday 19th January, 2024 (Nightly Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Connection of a New Development to Existing Services.
Alternative Routes
From Castlemartyr, continue on the N25 westwards towards Middleton. At the roundabout, take a right and continue on the R907 towards R627 junction. Turn right onto R627 towards Dungourney. At Dungourney turn right onto the Mogeely road (L-3805).
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-216-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Friday 29th December 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-3621-0 Bailick Road, Midleton, Co. Cork – From its junction with the L-3623-0, namely Dark Road, to its junction with the R630-6 Whitegate Road.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 12th February 2024 to 18:00hrs on Friday 16th February 2024. (Daily Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate tree removal, utility relocation and drainage works for Ballinacurra to Midleton Pedestrian and Cycle route project.
Alternative Routes
Via R630-6 (Whitegate Road), L3623-0 (Dark Road).
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
