ROADS ACT, 1993
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R619, Mallow, Co. Cork – From Clyda Bridge to Slip Roads with the N20.

Period of Proposed Closure 
From 07.00hrs on Monday 23rd May 2022 to 19.00hrs on Tuesday 14th June 2022.
(24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Pipeline Construction.

Alternative Routes
From Clyda Bridge travel along the R638 to Merritt’s Corner, turn left onto the R620 Old Cork Road and travel to Ballydaheen

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC- 23-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 1st March 2022.  Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

(24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure

From Clyda Bridge travel along the R638 to Merritt’s Corner, turn left onto the R620 Old Cork Road and travel to Ballydaheen.
