ROADS ACT, 1993
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

L-2480-0 Fairy Hill, Monkstown, Co. Cork.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs on Tuesday, 19th April, 2022 to 20.00hrs on Wednesday, 20th April, 2022 (Daily Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate School’s Connection to the MAN Network for Broadband.

Alternative Routes
Traffic north of closed sections of roadway wishing to access the R-610 should turn left on to L-6738-0 (Chapel Hill), proceed downhill, and join the R-610-74.

Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-38-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Friday 1st April 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
