TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:- 

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-2500-0 (Part of) Church Bay Road, Crosshaven - from its junction with Brightwater Estate to a point 350m to the South West.

Period of Proposed Closure 
From 09.30hrs on Monday 23rd May, 2022 to 19.00hrs on Saturday 25th June, 2022 (24hr Closure)

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a New Storm Line, Road Improvement and New Footpath Construction

Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling along Church Bay Road in a northerly direction towards the village, will be directed to turn right onto a temporary roadway and head in a northerly direction to enter Radharc Na Croise Estate. They should then follow signage along this roadway to its junction with the Camden Road (L-2499-0) and then turn left and head in a westerly direction to rejoin Church Bay Road.

The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure and pedestrian access through the works will be maintained at all times.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-60-2022, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 4th May, 2022.  Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below: 

Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R586-12 (Part of) Emmett Row, Bandon - from its junction with the R589-0 at Kilbrogan Hill to its junction with the L-2022-0 at Allen Square.

Period of Proposed Closure 
From 11:00hrs on Saturday 4th June 2022 to 03:00hrs on Monday 6th of June 2022. (24hr Closure).

Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Bandon Music Festival.

Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling east from Bandon towards Enniskeane via R586-12, will be diverted right on to R589-0 at Kilbrogan Hill, then left onto the L-2023-0 at the Shamble and then turn right rejoining the R586-12 again on the opposite side of the road closure.

This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse, when travelling from Enniskeane to Bandon.

Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-57-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Thursday 5th May, 2022.  Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
