Temporary Closing Of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

L-11202 (Part of) Derry, Banteer, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs to 20.00hrs from Tuesday 15th November, 2022 to Tuesday 13th December, 2022 (Daily Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Installation of a Watermain.
Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling on the L-1120 (Rathcoole/Banteer Road) shall divert via Banteer Village. Traffic shall continue on the L-1120 into Banteer Village. In Banteer Village turn right onto the R579 signposted Cork. Continue on the R579 and turn right (after the Glen Theatre) onto the L-5204. Continue on the L-5204 to rejoin the L-11202 at Derry.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

To facilitate the Installation of New Sewer Main.
Alternative Routes
No alternative available. There will be no access to vehicular traffic by the public during works. There will be signed pedestrian access during the works. Emergency Services will be given priority.

From 08:00hrs on Monday 24th October 2022 to 12:00hrs on Friday 11th November 2022 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Bridge repair works.
Alternative Routes
Via Kinsale Town Centre, Dunderrow, Innishannon and Halfway along routes R605, R600, R606, R605, N71, R607.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.

From 08.00hrs on Monday, 31st October 2022 to 18.00hrs on Saturday, 5th November 2022 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the Installation of Storm and Foul Pipeworks.
Alternative Routes
Traffic travelling south on Main Street wishing to access locations south of the proposed closure area should turn left onto Strand Road (L-2547) and proceed in an easterly direction to join the R612 (Crosshaven Road). They should then turn right onto L-7300 (Cherry Blossom Road) and proceed in a southerly direction to its junction with Ferney Road. Then turn right and proceed in a westerly direction to the junction with Fosters Cross.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
