Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:

L8346-0, Church Hill, Castletownshend, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Tuesday 1st November 2022 to 18:00hrs on Saturday 3rd December 2022 (Daily Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the installation of new sewer main.
Alternative Routes
No alternative available. There will be no access to vehicular traffic by the public during work. There will be signed pedestrian access during the works and Emergency Services will be given priority.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-177-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 12th October 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

L-2218-51 & L2218-68, Ballymurphy North, Innishannon – Works area contained between Ballyhandle 3 Cross Roads and Belrose Cross East.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs to 18.00hrs (Daily Closure) on Monday 31st of October 2022 to Friday 4th November 2022.
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate road resurfacing.
Alternative Routes
Traffic intending to access the L-2218 at Crossbarry shall divert east along R589-76, then turn left onto Crossbarry East Cross onto L-6278-15, at Ballymurphy North 4 Cross Roads turn left onto L-6279-0, then continue on the road to its junction with the L-2218, then turn right to approach the road closure from the opposite side.
Traffic intending to travel southbound along the L-2218 shall divert left onto L-6270-29 at Garranewaterig School Cross, then turn right onto L-6278-0 at Garranewaterig Cross to reach Ballymurphy North 4 Cross Roads, at Ballymurphy North 4 Cross Roads the fore mentioned northbound route shall be applicable in reverse from this point southwards.
Heavy Goods Vehicles shall divert from Killumney to Crookstown(via L-2216) and then towards Bandon via R590, at the R590/R589 junction outside Bandon then turn left for Crossbarry. The stated diversion is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.

From 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs (Daily Closure) on Monday 7th November 2022 to Friday 18th November 2022.
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate road resurfacing.
Alternative Routes
Follow the L-3415-0 west and south to join the N-22. Follow the N-22 east to its junction with the L-3415-23.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
