Rossmore Civic Amenity Site has now Resumed Normal Operations

Landowners and occupiers of land are reminded of their responsibilities under the Roads Act 1993 to take all reasonable steps to ensure that a tree, shrub, hedge or other vegetation on their land is not a hazard or potential hazard to persons using a public road and that it does not obstruct or interfere with the safe use of a public road or the maintenance of a public road.

Rossmore Civic Amenity Site is partially closed to domestic waste and bulky waste due to a technical difficulty. All domestic recycling at the facility is still operational. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The facility will open as normal on Tuesday, November 1st. Cork County Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

Cork County Council wishes to remind landowners, under the terms of the Roads Act 1993, that it is their responsibility to carry out any necessary tree or hedge cutting where their lands abut the public road.

Youghal CAS- Closed Afternoon of Saturday 6th August

Please be advised that Cork City Council propose to commence road works on the 28th June 2022 on the northern approach road (L2489)  to Raffeen Civic Amenity Site. The works are proposed to take approximately 3 weeks. Raffeen CAS will remain open during this time.
