NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDER EXTINGUISHING A PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY

At Knockgriffin (Imokilly) Midleton, Co. Cork.

Notice is hereby given that Cork County Council in pursuance of Section 73 of the Roads Act, 1993 proposes to make an order to extinguish the public rights of way over ‘part’ of local roadway, L-7698-0. The part comprises 0.1648 hectares of public roadway (length of circa. 168m) as shown on Drawing No. EC-22-038-02.

Drawing No. EC-22-038-02 may be inspected during normal opening hours for a period of one month from the date of publication of this notice, (until 6th December 2023) at the following locations: 

  • Planning Department, Cork County Hall, Carrigrohane Rd., Cork, Eircode T12 R2NC, between the hours of 9am and 4pm (excluding public holidays), 
  • Cork County Council East Cork Municipal District, Midleton Lodge, Youghal Road, Midleton, Co. Cork, Eircode P25 TF98, between the hours - 9:30am - 12:30pm and 2:00pm - 4:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), 
  • Cork County Council East Cork Municipal District, Mall House, Youghal, Co. Cork, Eircode P36 A660, between the hours of 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday; (excluding public holidays),

Objections/submissions or representations may be made in writing to the Senior Executive Engineer, Housing Infrastructure Implementation Team, Cork County Council, Floor 3, County Hall, Carrigrohane Road, Cork, T12 R2NC on or before 5pm on 20th December 2023. 

Any person making an objection or representation within the foregoing period may make a request, in writing to state their case at an oral hearing to be conducted by a person appointed by the said Council for that purpose.
