West Cork Welcomes First Cruise Ship of 2024 Season to Schull

Cork County Council has welcomed the first cruise ship of the 2024 season to its harbours. The expedition cruise ship, Seabourn Venture, made its inaugural call to Schull on Tuesday, May 7th, the vessel’s first of two visits to Cork County Council’s harbours this week.

Cork County Gears Up for Bike Week 2024

Launching a countywide programme for Bike Week Cork 2024, Cork County Council is encouraging everyone to get on their bike and discover the joys of cycling. The week-long celebration of cycling runs from Saturday the 11th to Sunday the 19th of May and will feature over 300 events across County Cork.

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Services is marking Bealtaine this Month with an extensive range of creative activities to commemorate the festival that celebrates arts and creativity as we age. Taking place across the entire month of May, the Bealtine festival provides opportunities for all older people to meaningfully take part in and express their creativity and be represented by their work to highlight how our creative potential can grow as we age.
