Cork County Council Announces New Culture and Creativity Strategy (Bilingual)

Cork County Council has launched its new 5-year Creative Ireland Culture and Creativity Strategy 2023-2027.  The Creative Ireland programme aims to create pathways to a wide range of creative and cultural possibilities, connecting individuals and communities and encouraging people of all ages to discover their personal creative potential.

Call for Arts Facilitators

Cork County Council’s Arts Office is forming a panel of enthusiastic, experienced, and skilled arts facilitators in all arts disciplines to assist with the  delivery of workshops across County Cork. Selected artists will work in a range of different engagement settings throughout the county, which can include facilitating and co-creating once off and medium-term quality arts projects with people of all ages.

Cork County Council Invites Applications for Cruinniú na nÓg 2023 (Bilingual)

Cuireadh á thabhairt ag Comhairle Contae Chorcaí roimh Iarratais do Chruinniú na nÓg 2023

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service is inviting arts facilitators, arts organisations and community groups to submit an application to participate in this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg. Taking place on Saturday 10th June, Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creative activity for children and young people.

Birds and Beasts Exhibition Opens in Cork County Library

Cork County Council’s first exhibition of 2023 ‘The Museum of Birds and Beasts’ will open on Thursday January 26th in the LHQ Gallery at Cork County Hall. The exhibition has been co-created by artists Tess Leak and Sharon Whooley with the residents of five community hospitals in West Cork.
