68 Cork County Schools Awarded Prestigious Green Flag Award for Environmental Excellence

68 schools across all eight of Cork County’s Municipal Districts have been awarded Green Flags as part of An Taisce’s Green Schools Programme. The awards recognise outstanding efforts by both primary and secondary schools across a wide range of environmental themes including litter and waste, biodiversity, energy, global citizenship, and marine care.

Applications Open for Cork County Council’s Creative Start-Up Scheme 2025

Cork County Council is now inviting applications for the Creative Start-Up Scheme 2025, an initiative aimed at supporting artists, designers, and craftspeople in establishing retail spaces across the county. The scheme is also part of the Council’s wider effort to revitalise town and village centres through creative enterprise.

Cork County Council Announces 10 Cost Rental Homes in Midleton

Cork County Council has announced a Cost Rental Scheme which aims to provide affordable rented accommodation to people on middle incomes. Applications for the new two and three bed houses at The Fairways, Tir Cluain, Midleton will open at 12 noon on Tuesday the 3rd of June 2025.
