Met Éireann Status Orange - Wind Warning - Storm Isha

A Met Éireann Status Orange Wind Warning for Cork (and much of the rest of the country) will come into effect at 5pm on Sunday evening 21st January and will remain in effect until 2am Monday morning 22nd January.  A Status Yellow Wind Warning will also be in effect for Ireland from 11am on Sunday morningto 4am on Monday morning.

Cork County Council’s offices are closed on the 25th, 26th and 27th of December and the 1st of January. Offices will be open as normal on the 28th and 29th of December and from Tuesday the 2nd of January.

Cork County Council Unveils Balanced Budget Of €458.3 Million

Cork County Council has approved its Budget for 2024 totalling over €458 million.  This is the first balanced budget Council has adopted in several years and ensures services are maintained and even increased despite continuing high inflation (7.8% for 2022 and 5.1% to October year on year).
