Asia Matters China Ireland Tourism Summit Cork

Cork County Council is delighted to partner the upcoming Asia Matters Business Summit Cork Monday 24 June. Under the theme of The China Ireland Tourism Summit, this significant Cork Summit will promote the unique strengths of Chinese- Irish partnerships which Cork has developed with Chinese peers.

You are invited to join for networking and knowledge sharing with key speakers including:

  • Michael McGrath TD, Irish Minister for Finance who will deliver a Keynote address
  • Professor Maggie Cusack, President Munster Technological University
  • Sharon Corcoran, Director of Economic development & Tourism, Cork County Council

With key tourism reports including from Tourism Economics and ETA suggesting the impending return of Chinese tourists to Europe, the timing of the Summit is perfect. 2024 figures are forecast to be 60-80% up on 2023 with anticipated return to full 2019 level in 2025.
