Christmas Deadlines for Building Control Management System

Please find below the BCMS (Building Control Management System) Christmas Closure Period for all applications including Commencement Notices, 7 Day Notice, Certificates of Compliance on Completion, Fire Safety Certificate, Disability Access Certificate:

• The BCMS will be CLOSED to all application submissions (including further information or revised information) from 11:59pm on Thursday the 19th of December 2024 to 12:01am on Monday the 1st of January 2025.
• Certificates of Compliance on Completion cannot be added to the Register between 19th December 2024 and 1st January 2025 and you should bear this in mind when submitting a prior notification of completion.

Temporary Development Contribution Waiver:

• The temporary period for this scheme was extended to include residential developments that commence onsite before 31st December 2024.
• Accordingly, it is strongly advised that Commencement Notices and 7 Day Notices for developments wishing to avail of this waiver should be submitted on or before 17th December 2024 at the latest in order to allow adequate time for processing (validation) prior to the BCMS shutdown.
