Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-4011 Ardfield Road, Youghals, Clonakilty, Co. Cork at Sliabh na mBan development.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 30th June 2025 to 18:00hrs on Friday 4th July 2025 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate installation of water main.
Alternative Routes
At Junction N71 and L-4011 (Henry O Leary Auctioneers) continue eastwards on N71 to the roundabout; turn right on the roundabout and take the L-4013, Inchydoney Road, as far as the Short Causeway, turn right onto the L-4014 Short Causeway to rejoin L-4011.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-44-2025, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 28th May 2025. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Ag Acomhal N71 agus L-4011 (Ceantálaithe Henry O’Leary) lean ar aghaidh soir ar an N71 go dtí an timpeallán; cas ar dheis ag an timpeallán agus tóg an L-4013, Bóthar Inse Duine, chomh fada leis an gCabhsa Gearr, cas ar dheis isteach ar an gCabhsa Gearr L-4014 chun dul ar ais chuig an L-4011.
