Temporary Closing Of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:
Roads Subject of Proposed Closure
L-5413-0 and L-5413-20 Close Road, Castletownroche, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 21st February 2022 to 18.00hrs on Friday 24th June 2022.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the installation of a new watermain.
Alternative Routes
Via L-1227-19 Ballygarrane Cross Roads to Monanimy Cross Roads onto the N72-452 to Castletownroche.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-01-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 18th January 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:
Roads Subject of Proposed Closure
R586-25 and R586-12(Part) – for works at Laragh Bandon. Closure from the L-2019-0 Junction at Carhoon East to Allen Square Junction, Bandon. (The works area is located from a point 55 metres east of Laragh Industrial Estate Junction to a point 300 metres further east.)
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Monday 21st February 2022 to 17:00hrs on Friday 4th March 2022.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Cattle Underpass Construction.
Alternative Routes
Traffic coming from Enniskeane intending to travel east along R586 to Laragh, shall at Carhoon East divert right onto the L-2019-0, travel over Baxter’s Bridge, then at the next main road junction turn left onto the N71-982 at Knockaveale, follow the road on to N71-993 and then N71-1001 (Clonakilty Road), take the 2nd exit at the mini roundabout onto Kilbrittain Road (N71-1013), then turn left onto the Bandon Relief Road (N71-1018), follow the road onto the N71-102, then take the 1st exit at the roundabout on to the Glasslinn Road (R586-0), follow the road, then at the next main road junction turn right onto St Finbarr Place and continue onto Bridge Place (R-586-0) followed by North Main Street, Emmet Row(R586-12) to approach the road closure from the opposite side.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure outside of the works area.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-142-2021, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 19th January 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
