Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
R605 Glen Road ,Kinsale, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 19.00hrs to 06.00hrs (Nightly Closure) from Monday 23rd June 2025 to Friday 4th July 2025.
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate resurfacing works.
Alternative Routes
Vehicles travelling south will divert left onto the R607 at Farm Lane, turn right onto the R600 at Pewterhole Cross & then continue on the R600.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-46-2025, not later than 5pm on Thursday 5th June 2025. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Rachaidh feithiclí atá ag taisteal ó dheas ar mhalairt slí trí chasadh ar chlé ar an R607 ag Farm Lane, casfaidh siad ar dheis ar an R600 ag Pewterhole Cross agus leanfaidh siad ar aghaidh ar an R600 ansin.

Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-2493-30 Forest Road Carrigaline, East of Bothar Glas, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
To facilitate Wastewater connection from two developments to the existing network.
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Road Resurfacing.
Alternative Routes
Traffic heading east on the L-2493 (Forest Road) wishing to access locations east of the closed section of roadway should turn left on to Bothar Glas (L-6488), proceed in a northerly direction and turn right on to the Ballea Road (R-613). They should proceed in an easterly direction to the Ballea Roundabout and turn right on to the L-6572 (Mill Road) and turn right on to L-2534 (Pottery Road). Traffic should then turn right on to the R611 (Kilmoney Road) and proceed in a westerly direction.
The stated diversion is applicable in reverse when traveling in the opposite direction.
Heavy Goods Vehicles heading east that are west of the closure should utilize the R600 (Kinsale Road) and turn right on to the R-613 (Ballea Road) proceeding in an easterly direction to the Ballea Road Roundabout.
Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure.

Ba cheart go leanfadh an trácht ar aghaidh i dtreo an oirthir chomh fada le Timpeallán Bhaile Aodha agus go gcasfadh sé ar dheis ar an L-6572 (Bóthar an Mhuilinn) agus go gcasfadh sé ar dheis arís ar an L-2534 (Bóthar na Potaireachta). Ba cheart go gcasfadh an trácht ar dheis ansin ar an R611 (Bóthar Chill Mhóna) agus go leanfadh sé ar aghaidh i dtreo an iarthair.
