Temporary Closing of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-4033-15 Crohane, Ballinascarthy, Co. Cork – Crohane Cross Roads to Crohane East.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 07:00hrs on Monday 24th June 2024 to 18:00hrs on Friday 5th July 2024. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Construction of Cattle Underpass.
Alternative Routes
Travelling west take L-8070-0, L-8069-0, to Crusheennalanniv, turn south on L-8067-0 to rejoin.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-49-2024, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 15th May 2024. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
