Caravans and Camping Parks

Bring your tent, touring caravan or motor home to experience the freedom of a camping holiday in Cork's many parks! Some parks are small and family run, some are large and offer a host of amenities, and others may offer fewer facilities in a tranquil setting.

Many parks have activities and leisure facilities on-site or nearby so there is always plenty to do, and with Quality Assurance from Fáilte Ireland and Cork County Council, high standard facilities are guaranteed.

The Development of Motorhome Services in County Cork Policy Paper 2018

The Caravan & Camping sector in Ireland is relatively small in terms of the accommodation mix used by overseas and domestic holiday makers.  There are a number of constraints on the sector, the main one being the shortage of quality pitches in suitable locations. Licencing of Caravan & Camping Parks

The principal legislation governing the provision of sanitation and public health services in relation to mobile home parks, caravan parks and camping sites is the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act 1948. Under part IV of this Act, the Local Authority may grant a licence to the occupier of the land and may attach certain conditions to such a licence.
