A temporary Christmas Park & Ride will operate between County Hall and Sheares Street over five weekends beginning on Saturday the 23rd of November 2024.

Cork County Council has established its Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) Structure and Scheme, to consider matters connected with the formulation, development, monitoring, and review of policy which relate to the functions of Council and to advise Council on those matters.

Update 14:10 Telephones lines at Cork County Hall are now operational.

The Finance (Local Property Tax) Act 2012 (as amended), makes specific provision that elected members of a local authority may pass a formal resolution to vary the basic rate of the Local Property Tax for their administrative area by a percentage known as the local adjustment factor. 

Cork County Council has reviewed its Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) Structure and has prepared a draft SPC Scheme, which proposes the establishment of the following Committees, to consider matters connected with the formulation, development, monitoring and review of policy which relate to the functions of the Council and to advise the Council on those matters.

The network upgrade has been completed ahead of schedule, online services and internet access have been restored.

1. A poll for the election of members for the following local electoral areas will be taken on Friday, 7th June 2024, between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m..
