Cork County Council was proud to host a civic reception in honour of Jim Murphy to acknowledge and celebrate his lifelong commitment to his hometown Passage West. The Civic reception was hosted by Carrigaline Municipal District on Tuesday 4th October 2022 in County Hall.

Crosshaven Boosted by €40,000 Outdoor Sports Facility

A new multi-use games area has been officially opened in Crosshaven, County Cork. The ribbon was cut on the outdoor facility for young people by the Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins.

The €40,000 multi-use games area provides basketball and soccer facilities free of charge to children and young people. The astroturf pitch and court is located in the Camden area of Crosshaven and is open seven days a week.

Submissions Invited on Carrigaline’s Transportation Public Realm Enhancement Plan

Cork County Council has today commenced the Part 8 process for Phase 1A of the Carrigaline Transportation Public Realm Enhancement Plan (TPREP).   The project will see a multi-million-euro investment in the town of Carrigaline and will be transformative in terms of re-invigorating and rejuvenating the core of the town.

New Tourist Kiosk, Garden and Sculpture Unveiled in Crosshaven

The Mayor of the County of Cork has cut the ribbon on three new developments in Crosshaven. Cllr. Gillian Coughlan officially opened the tourist kiosk, the redeveloped Point Garden and unveiled a new sculpture at a special event on Tuesday, December 21st.
