Dursey Cable Car will not be operational on Sunday the 20th of October due to strong and gusty winds forecast.

Dursey Cable Car will not be operational tomorrow Sunday the 29th of September due to strong and gusty winds. It will resume operations when weather conditions permit and following inspection if necessary.

Cork County Council is inviting members of the public to have their say on early-stage plans for the West Cork Greenway – Bandon Sections. This section of Greenway would service the Crossbarry, Bandon, Clonakilty and Timoleague hinterlands. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances Dursey Cable Car will be closed Saturday 27th April.  Normal service will resume Sunday 28th.

Dursey Cable Car will be closed Monday 22nd of April from 10:30 - 14:00 to facilitate operator training.

To facilitate our regular and independent statutory inspection Dursey Cable Car will be closed to the public Thursday 1st February.  Locals and people staying overnight on the island will be accommodated 09:00-09:45 and after 15:30.
