Millstreet library offers a wide range of books for lending to adults and children, including books on tape. A selection of general reference books is also held, such as encyclopedias and dictionaries. The library also holds the following newspapers and magazines: The Irish Examiner, The Corkman, The Clara News, Phoenix, Hello and Woman's Way.

Conversational Irish: held every Wednesday at Millstreet Library from 11.00 am - 12.00 noon. Everybody is welcome. Bíonn "Comhrá as Gaeilge" sa Leabharlann, Sráid an Mhuillinn, gach Céadaoin, 11.00 go 12.00. Fáilte roimh gach éinne.
Storytelling suitable for children aged 3-7, takes place if requested most Saturdays from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm - 4.30 pm. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
The Page Turners Children's Book Club led by Norma and Katie Guerin meets one day each month from 11.00 am - 12.00 pm. Suitable for children aged 10-13 years. New members welcome. Please contact the library on 029 21920 if you'd like to join up or just come along on the day!
Adult Book Club meets in the library on the first Tuesday of every month, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. All adults welcome!
