Opening Hours
Tuesday to Saturday: 9.30am - 5.30pm.
Closed Mondays.
Closed Saturday of Bank Holiday Weekends.

Macroom Library offers a range of services to adults and children, including book lending, audiobooks, film DVDs, CDs, and CD-ROMs.
Also E-magazines, extensive e-audio and e-books service available to library members.
The following newspapers are available for viewing in the library: The Irish Examiner, The Irish Times, The Corkman, and The Southern Star. The Echo newspaper (Tuesdays only).
Macroom Library has a collection of local history material on Macroom and the surrounding areas, and a reference collection that includes the Electoral Register, ordinance survey maps and the County Development Plans.
Public toilet available.
Internet Access
Internet access is available on public computers. Advance booking for this is advisable. There is free Wi-Fi for members.
Remote Printing
You can now print remotely to the printer in Macroom Library. You can print from your tablet or smartphone, from your home computer or laptop. Then collect your prints at the self-service printing kiosk
at the library by the close of business the following day. Exception: Any print job sent on a Saturday will need to be collected that day.

Photocopying
Photocopying is available in Black and White and Colour.
- A4 black and white - €0.15 per page.

Events
Story Time is held every Saturday at 11.30 am and is presented by a member of library staff.
The Adult Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 11.30 am.
The Music Morning is held on the second Friday in the month at 11.00am.
The Macroom Purlies Knitting Group is held at 11.30am on the first and third Thursdays of every month.
The Ciorcal Cainte meets on the last Thursday in the month 11.30am.
The Bridge group meets on the second Wednesday in the month at 10.00am.
‘First Friday’ Creative Writing Group, meets on the first Friday of every month at 11am.
