Villages Receive €68,750 Investment in Macroom Municipal District

The village of Clondrohid has welcomed significant investment under Cork County Council’s Village Enhancement Fund. Improvement works valued at €50,750 have been completed as part of the Macroom Municipal District 2021 Programme, with a further €18,000 dedicated towards speed safety measures in villages across the district.

Funding Awarded to Progress Feasibility Study to develop Cross-Border Tourism Experience for Brow Head

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Danny Collins has welcomed the announcement that funding of €100,000 has been awarded under the Shared Island Local Authority Development Fund to progress a feasibility study for the ‘Four Points of the Island’ project. Cork County Council will collaborate with Kerry County Council, the lead Local Authority Partner together with Donegal County Council and Ards and North Down Borough Council.
