Please be advsied that Castletownbere Civic Amenity Site will be opening at 10.30am and closing at 3.30pm tomorrow, Wednesday 24th July 2024.

Following comprehensive follow-up monitoring by Cork County Council’s Environment Directorate, and in consultation with HSE, the Prohibition Notice (Not to Swim) has been lifted at Warren Beach (Cregane), Rosscarbery. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances our Civic Amenity Site Millstreet will be closed today Thursday the 18th of July.

The Warren Beach, West Cork: Due to high levels of bacteria in the bathing water, in the interest of public health, a Prohibition Notice (Not to Swim) has been issued at the Warren Beach, in consultation with the HSE. Further microbiological tests are being carried out today.

Cork County Council are undertaking a survey of community groups in Cork County.

Bandon Civic Amenity site will be inaccessible to the public for the remainder of today, Monday 24th of June due to a road traffic incident on the N71 adjacent to the Civic Amenity site.

Please be advised that Millstreet Civic Amenity Site will be closed Saturday 22nd June. 

Clonakilty Civic Amenity Site will be closed on Thursday, 20th of June. 

Clonakilty Civic Amenity Site will open with reduced hours on Friday 21st of June and from Tuesday 25th to Friday 28th of June inclusive.

Clonakilty Civic Amenity Site will be closed on Friday 7th of June.
