The Libby app by OverDrive has over three thousand digital magazine titles available 24/7. It offers the latest and back issues of some of your favourite magazines - with no check out limits and unlimited downloads, you can always have a magazine ready to read.
You can read them online or download to your PC, smartphone or tablet – with changeable print sizes and viewing options, find out below how you can register for this great resource.
To get started with Libby:
STEP 1
Install the Libby app from your device's app store.
Or, visit LibbyApp.com in your Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (Chromium) browser.
STEP 2
In Libby, follow the prompts to find 'Cork County Library' and sign in with a valid library number and 4 digit pin.
New library members can join online now before registering for the Libby App. Alternatively, if required you can reset your pin online.
STEP 3
Browse your library's collection and borrow a title. There are no check out limits and downloads are unlimited.
Your borrowed magazines will be available for 21 days on your account. After this time, you will just need to borrow it again if you need more time to read.
STEP 4
Borrowed titles appear on your Shelf, ready to read. If connected to the wi-fi the title will automatically download, so you can read them when you're offline.
