PUBLIC CONSULTATION

Public Notice in Compliance with Part XI of the Planning & Development Acts 2000-2020 as set down in Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001-2021.

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, Notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to carry out the development, particulars of which are set out hereunder:

Nature and extent of the Proposed Works

The proposed works will consist of the following:

  • Installation of 3.6 m high Statue, and ancillary site works.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection and/or purchase at the Cork County Council Offices, Carrig House, Cobh, Co. Cork from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm on each day during which the said offices are open for the transaction of business (excluding Bank Holidays) for a period beginning on Friday 26th May and ending on Friday 23rd June 2023.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development are available for purchase, on payment of a specified fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making such a copy.

Submissions

Submissions and Observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with proper planning and sustainable development in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing and clearly marked Part 8 – Installation of 3.6m high Statue, and ancillary site works at Five Foot Way Carpark, Cobh. To: S/Municipal District Officer, Cobh Municipal District, Cork County Council, Carrig House, Cobh, Co. Cork or E-mail to: cobhmd@corkcoco.ie and must be received by 5.00 p.m. on Friday 7th July 2023.
