What is ‘Adopt a Road’ Scheme?

Cork County Council’s ‘Adopt a Road’ Scheme involves a participating Group from the Business or Voluntary / Community Sector adopting a designated stretch of road, for the purpose of removing litter from the roadside verges.

The Scheme benefits all parties involved by helping to reduce litter and its associated problems, while advertising and highlighting the efforts of the participating Business or Group.



What is ‘Adopt a Roundabout’ Scheme?

Cork County Council’s ‘Adopt a Roundabout’ Scheme involves a participating non-Voluntary Company / Business adopting a Roundabout for the purpose of landscaping and maintenance.

The Scheme benefits all parties involved by enhancing the appearance of roundabouts, while advertising and highlighting the efforts of the participating Business or Company.
