Roadside Memorials Policy and Application Form

Cork County Council has adopted a Roadside Memorial Policy which outlines details of what will be allowed on public roads under the control of the Council. 

The Council aims to ensure that public roads in its charge are kept safe for all road users, while also recognizing the wishes of the bereaved to erect Roadside Memorials at accident locations.

In order to ensure that Roadside Memorials are erected with road safety foremost in mind, an Application seeking the consent of the Roads Authority for the erection of any Roadside Memorial must be submitted in writing to Cork County Council.
