Update further to previous Public Notice dated 28/07/2020 on the opening dates of Clonakilty Civic Amenity Site

The previous Public Notice dated 28/07/2020 with regard to the opening dates of Clonakilty Civic Amenity Site stated Clonakilty Civic Amenity Site will remain closed from Monday to Friday, during the first two weeks of August 2020 - Weeks Beginning August 3rd and August 10th.

Please note that circumstances have changed and the anticipated closure of Clonakilty Civic Amenity Site will not be necessary. The facility will be open and operate as normal during the first 2 weeks of August. 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Raffeen Civic Amenity Site Update (Bilingual)

Raffeen Civic Amenity Site will be open as normal from Thursday 16th of July onwards. The site will also be able to resume accepting paint from the public.

Raffeen Civic Amenity Site is currently not accepting paint from the public, as the site has reached capacity. The public will be notified when Raffeen once again accepts paint. Cork County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Covid-19 Service update - Civic Amenity (CA) Sites (Bilingual)

Please note due to the easing of COVID restrictions on Monday 18th May the waste facilities will re-commence acceptance of all waste & recycling streams without exception & including the return of the €3 entry fee in accordance with the charging schedule.

Access at site entrances may be curtailed while we enforce social distancing guidelines.

Civic Amenity (CA) Sites will from Monday Tuesday 5th May, 2020 accept the following expanded range of waste materials:

  • Household “black bag” Waste - double bagged up to a maximum of 3 standard (80L) black bags per customer.
  • Glass Bottles.
  • Food and Beverage Cans
  • Paper
  • Cardboard
  • Plastic bottles
  • Plastic packaging
  • Domestic Green Waste*
