Tá dhá ghné ealaíne ar scála mór, a léiríonn cinn mhná,   suiteáilte feadh bhóthar nua an N22 idir Maigh Chromtha agus Baile Bhuirne. Tá na dealbha cruthaithe ag an ealaíontóir Sarah Goyvaerts, atá lonnaithe in Iarthar Chorcaí, agus coimisiúnaithe ag Comhairle Contae Chorcaí  agus Bonneagar Iompair Éireann le maoiniú ó Scéim an Chéatadáin le haghaidh na nEalaíon le haghaidh fhorbairt an N22.

Per Cent for Art Scheme Sculptures Installed as part of N22 Road Development

Two large scale artistic features have been installed along the new N22 road between Macroom and Baile Bhuirne.  The sculptural forms representing female heads were created by West Cork based artist Sarah Goyvaerts and were commissioned by Cork County Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland with funding from the Per Cent for Art Scheme for the N22 development.

Cork County Council Announces Reopening of Camden Fort Meagher

Cork County Council is delighted to announce that the long-awaited reopening of Camden Fort Meagher will take place on Saturday, the 27th of April. The fort closed to the public for the 2023 season to facilitate essential repair work to safeguard the structural integrity of Camden Fort Meagher for many years to come.

County Mayor’s Charity Gala

The County Mayor's Charity Gala will take place at the Radisson Blu Little Island on Friday April 19th raising vital funds for two deserving causes chosen personally by Mayor O’Flynn, Blackwater Search and Recovery Unit and Cope Foundation’s locations in Fermoy and Mitchelstown.  The event also marks the Mayor’s successful term of office.
