Call for Arts Facilitators

Cork County Council’s Arts Office is forming a panel of enthusiastic, experienced, and skilled arts facilitators in all arts disciplines to assist with the  delivery of workshops across County Cork. Selected artists will work in a range of different engagement settings throughout the county, which can include facilitating and co-creating once off and medium-term quality arts projects with people of all ages.

County Cork Businesses Meet Thousands of Buyers at Local Enterprise Showcase

Businesses from County Cork had the opportunity to meet buyers from all over the world as part of the Local Enterprise Showcase at Showcase 2023 in the RDS Dublin.  There were over 100 Local Enterprise Office supported businesses from across the country present at the event with 7 in attendance from the county.

Midleton’s Bee Orchid on the Move

St. Brigid inspires Cork County Council’s Women’s Caucus

In a day of firsts, the first of February marking St. Brigid’s day, the first day of Spring in the Celtic Calendar, the first public holiday dedicated to St. Brigid, Cork County Council’s first Women’s Caucus has commissioned its first short film in honour of a woman who represents women in local government and in turn all women.

Cork County Council Invites Applications for Cruinniú na nÓg 2023 (Bilingual)

Cuireadh á thabhairt ag Comhairle Contae Chorcaí roimh Iarratais do Chruinniú na nÓg 2023

Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service is inviting arts facilitators, arts organisations and community groups to submit an application to participate in this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg. Taking place on Saturday 10th June, Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creative activity for children and young people.
