Irish Water, working in partnership with Cork County Council wishes to notify customers on the Newmarket Public Water Supply that following the completion of remedial measures and the receipt of satisfactory monitoring results, the boil water notice which has been in place since 24 February is now lifted with immediate effect. This decision follows consultation undertaken with the Health Service Executive.
Monday, 28 February 2022: Following consultation with the Health Service Executive, Irish Water and Cork County Council are issuing a Boil Water Notice with immediate effect to protect the health of consumers supplied by the Killavullen Public Water Supply.
Thursday, 24 February 2022: Irish Water and Cork County Council would like to remind all consumers supplied by the Newmarket Public Water Supply that the Boil Water Notice issued on 18 February remains in place.
