Draft Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) Scheme 2024 - 2029

Cork County Council has reviewed its Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) Structure and has prepared a draft SPC Scheme, which proposes the establishment of the following Committees, to consider matters connected with the formulation, development, monitoring and review of policy which relate to the functions of the Council and to advise the Council on those matters.

Final Results of Cork County Council Local Elections 2024

All 55 seats for Cork County Council have now been filled following the 2024 Local Elections. 

Fianna Fáil is now the largest party on Cork County Council with 19 Elected Members, followed by Fine Gael with 18. There are 8 Non-Party Councillors, 4 from Independent Ireland, 3 Social Democrats, 2 Labour Party and 1 Sinn Féin.
