Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following roads for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-8103-0, Lislevane, Bandon, Co. Cork. (From Lislevane to L-4021-43 Junction by Lissycrimeen House).
L-8104-0, Tir Na Nean, Lislevane, Bandon, Co. Cork. (From the junction with the L-8103-0 to Tir Na Nean).
Period of Proposed Closure
From 07:00hrs on Monday, 26th of May 2025 to 18:00hrs on Saturday, 31st of May 2025 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate the construction of a cattle underpass.
Alternative Routes
Traffic intending to access the L-8103-0 at Lislevane shall divert west along the L-4018-61, then turn left at School House Cross onto L-4021-43, then continue to approach the road closure from the opposite side.
Traffic intending to access the L-8104-0 at Tir Na Nean shall divert north along the L-4022-0, then turn left at the crossroads onto L-4018-61, then follow the fore mentioned diversion from the next crossroads reached.
Traffic travelling on the L-81041-0 intending to access the L-8104-0, shall be allowed to travel northwards and then follow the stated diversions from Tir Na Nean.
The stated diversion routes are applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Local Access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure where possible.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-23-2025, not later than 5pm on Thursday, 24th April 2025. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Rachaidh an trácht a bhfuil sé i gceist aige rochtain a fháil ar an L-8104-0 ag Tír na nÉan ar mhalairt slí ó thuaidh feadh an L-4022-0, casfaidh sé ar chlé ansin ag an gcrosbhóthar ar an L-4018-61, sula leanfaidh sé an t-atreorú thuasluaite ón gcéad chrosbhóthar eile a bhaintear amach ar aghaidh.
Beidh cead ag an trácht atá ag taisteal ar an L-81041-0, a bhfuil sé i gceist aige rochtain a fháil ar an L-8104-0, taisteal ó thuaidh agus na hatreoruithe a luaitear ó Thír na nÉan a leanúint.
Tá na bealaí atreoraithe a luaitear infheidhme droim ar ais nuair atá tú ag taisteal an treo eile.
