A Celtic Cross of Journeys and Meetings made locally by Kinsale company, Wild Goose, was presented to the Captain of Noble Caledonia’s, Island Sky, to welcome them on their inaugural call to Kinsale.
To celebrate the forthcoming opening of the new Bandon Library later this year, Cork County Council Library & Arts Service are inviting members of the public to design a library card on the theme of ‘Bandon: My Town, My Library’.
One of Cork’s most acclaimed pop groups, The Frank and Walters, will play a special outdoor show for over 200 people in Bandon on Sunday October 10th. Presented by Cork County Council in conjunction with The Good Room, The Frank and Walters will take to the stage on St Patrick’s Quay in the West Cork town as part of the Council’s Cork Co Co Pops Series, an expansive programme of events aimed at supporting performers and bringing live events to local communities.
