Temporary Closing of Public Roads
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-3239-1 Waterisland South, Kinsale, Co. Cork.
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08:00hrs on Tuesday 4th July 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 7th July 2023.
(24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Connection and Developer Services Works, water connection at Waterisland South, Kinsale, Cork.
Alternative Routes
Southbound diversion – Drivers will be instructed to continue on L-3231 for approximately 205m; here they will make a left-hand turn onto L-9707-0 and proceed for approximate 125m where they will be instructed to take a left turn onto L-9706-0 where they will proceed for approximately 128m before taking another left onto the R600 for approximately 245m. They will then be instructed to take a left onto the L-3239-1 where the diversion root ends.
Northbound traffic diversion is the same as Southbound but in reverse.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-92-2023, not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 14th June 2023. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Atreorú ó dheas – Tabharfar treoir do thiománaithe leanúint ar aghaidh ar an L-3231 ar feadh tuairim is 205m; casfaidh siad ar thaobh na láimhe clé ansin ar an L-9707-0 agus leanfaidh siad ar aghaidh ar feadh tuairim is 125m, áit a thabharfar treoir dóibh casadh ar chlé ar an L-9706-0. Leanfaidh siad ar aghaidh ar feadh tuairim is 128m sula gcasfaidh siad ar chlé arís ar an R600 ar feadh tuairim is 245m. Ansin tabharfar treoir dóibh casadh ar chlé ar an L-3239-1, an áit a chríochnóidh an bealach atreoraithe.
