Temporary Closing of Public Roads

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:
Road Subject of Proposed Closure
L-92208 at Doire na Sagart/Sliabh Riabhach, Co. Cork (eastern section only).
Period of Proposed Closure
From 08.00hrs on Monday 16th January 2023 to 20.00hrs on Friday 26th May 2023 (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate N22 Macroom By-Pass construction.
Alternative Routes
Traffic Travelling East: Follow the open section of the L-92208 west until it joins the N22. Follow the N22 east.
The stated diversion route is applicable in reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Objections
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-201-2022, not later than 5.00pm on Tuesday 6th December 2022. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.

Period of Proposed Closure
From 09.00hrs on Monday 9th January 2023 to 09.00hrs on Friday 20th January 2023. (24hr Closure).
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate ESB Ducting Works.
Alternative Routes
Via Winters Hill L-9727-0 and Blind Gate L-9714-0.
Local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the Road Closure.
